Vertical reciprocating conveyor (VRC)

A vertical reciprocating conveyor (VRC), also known as a vertical lift or material lift, is a mechanical device used to transport goods or materials vertically between different levels of a building or facility. It typically consists of a platform or carriage that moves up and down along vertical guide rails or tracks. VRCs are commonly used in warehouses, factories, and distribution centers to efficiently move heavy or bulky items, such as pallets, boxes, or equipment, between floors. They offer a space-saving alternative to traditional elevators or forklifts and can be customized to meet specific loading and capacity requirements.
