JM Energy Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce the launch of (1) square type high-capacity 4300F cells and (2) multi-connection modules that can handle high voltages of over 1000V as new lithium-ion capacitors.

① Square type high capacity 4300F cell

The new product to be launched this time is a high-performance, high-capacity 4300F cell that achieves both high energy and high output. In addition to the existing product lineup of square type 2300F and 3300F cells, we will provide our products to our customers by this fall.

② ULTIMO multi-connection module

Whereas existing module products have up to 12 cells in series per unit, the new multi-connection module to be launched this time can be configured with a maximum of 48 cells per unit. In addition, by serializing the modules, it is possible to handle high voltages up to 1450V, which exceeds 1000V. We have two types, the standard type MPB series for backup use and the air-cooled type MPC series for cycle use, which we will provide to our customers from this spring.

JM Energy will develop lithium-ion capacitors ULTIMO in a wide range of fields from low voltage to high voltage applications such as backup power supply applications during power outages, voltage leveling and energy regeneration applications, peak current assist and storage applications.

This new product will be introduced at the JM Energy booth at the International Rechargeable Battery Exhibition held at Tokyo Big Sight from February 27th to March 1st.
